Had such a great weekend with my girlies from the awesome road trip up to Scotland to Ali drinking just a little too much, it was a weekend full of fun, love, laughter and of course...music! The road trip up to Scotland had to be one of the highlights of the weekend itself. Windows down, music blaring, us girls singing every girly song we could find, Lady Marmalade and I don't think we will ever forget 'The can can caaaan'!! First night began great with Fat Boy Slim and then kinda flopped when Ali took a turn for the worst and was a little bit ill so returned to the tent, not to worry tho, still ended up having a good night, Ali was fine and we still love her :) All the acts that we saw were amazing! Ian Brown was a little bit of a let down but ho hum, the atmosphere was still epic! BLONDIE on the other hand!! Wow! She is just about to turn 65 and she was incredible, definitely made my weekend seeing her and of course, The Strokes! Anyway, there is the weekend briefly rounded up and here are some pics...

Brick Lane.
My Boyfriend and I had a little trip into London on Wednesday so that he could spend his birthday money. To be honest, it ended up kind of more my shopping spree than his. When we got on Brick Lane I was in Vintage Heaven! Stopping for a smoothie at Café 1001, a cider at my new favourite place, Casa Blue (shown in the picture) and shop shop shopping in all the amazing vintage shops, one of my ultimate favourites being, ROKIT!
ROKIT is where got my first purchase, a real bargain! I got a gorgeous grey, boyfriend fit Blazer for £20! It was a definite keeper from the second I set eyes upon it. Sorry the picture isn't great, I couldn't really get a picture of it on myself and there is no one around to wear it for me but here it is anyway...
My next purchase was a pair of denim, high-waisted shorts which have now become my favourite item of clothing that I own. I got these for £20 also from a shop which I can't remember the name, it is vintage something. But its the cutest little shop with two small floors, if you go and check it out, it is about half way down Brick Lane on a corner and the sign is purple with purpley pink writing :) Anyway...the shorts, this is a better picture than the blazer.

Toying With Emotion...again.
After my first post on the project, the title of the post kind of stuck with me so I decided to name my book 'Toying With Emotion' as well, as I thought it was pretty relevant because I was playing around with various ways of expressing emotions. Thought you might want to see the front cover... I went for something quite simple and a little tacky chic, but I like it. Let me know what you think...
